The boom irrigation system is an in-greenhouse irrigation method in which irrigation benches move along rails fixed to the greenhouse steel construction by welding or clamp joints, with the help of cables.
This irrigation method is generally preferred in seedling greenhouses. The nozzles connected to irrigation benches apply mist-like irrigation over plug trays, preventing seedlings in the maturation stage from being uprooted by irrigation force.
You can also supply fertilizer or nutrients to seedlings through the boom irrigation system.
The boom irrigation system, controlled through an external electrical control panel, offers manual, automatic, and semi-automatic options. It can perform irrigation and fertilization within desired time intervals and also allows precise irrigation or fertilization only in the desired area and in the desired amount.
For a system expected to operate properly:
- The steel construction must be installed level and square,
- Appropriate geared motor selection is required,
- Because of exposure to moisture and water, selecting rust-preventive structural elements such as galvanized or anti-rust materials is essential,
- Proper hose and nozzle selection is critical for your seedling greenhouse and boom irrigation system,
- Alternatively, motor speed increase/decrease inverters or automation software will improve comfort in your seedling greenhouse.
Boom irrigation systems produced and installed under Teknik Sistem Sera assurance are delivered after being tested for one week at your facility, during which necessary training is provided to your technical staff. At product delivery, your user and maintenance manual containing the information required for long-term use of your boom irrigation system is handed over, and your system becomes ready for operation. Six months after delivery, our company provides free service; during this service, system efficiency is checked and any detected issues are resolved free of charge. Your boom irrigation system is under our warranty for one year; free repair or replacement services for issues related to manufacturing, installation, or production defects are included within this warranty.
